For over thirty years, the Kruse Way Rotary Club has supported numerous local and international projects including: Candlelighters (Support Group for Families of Children with Cancer); International Service Projects in Uganda; Support of Rotary's Polio Eradication Campaign; Rotary Youth Leadership Awards; High School Scholarships and Concerts supporting disasters, military and currently Oregon children in need.
Rotary International is a volunteer service organization of 1.2 million business and professional leaders and 600,000 teenagers and young adults, united worldwide, to provide humanitarian service and help build Goodwill and Peace. Nearly 54,000 clubs in 185 countries conduct projects to address today’s challenges (locally in their communities and abroad in developing countries) including illiteracy, disease, hunger, poverty, lack of clean water and peace & conflict resolution, while encouraging high ethical standards in all vocations.
